Review by hotel critic
As a wine producer from the beautiful region of Mendoza, Argentina, I recently visited Estoril in search of a balance between luxury and value. The hostel's location near "Plaza del Congreso" and easy access to the metro, supermarkets, and restaurants were convenient for exploring the city. The cleanliness of the rooms, consistent hot water, and basic breakfast options made for a comfortable stay. The hostel's rooftop terrace offered a peaceful retreat in the bustling city, ideal for relaxing after a day of sightseeing. In terms of value, Estoril may not be the most economical option, but it certainly offers good value for the amenities provided. The helpful staff, including Guillermo who organized a tango lesson and outings, added a personal touch to my experience. While the hostel lacks some luxuries found in higher-end accommodations, such as express check-in/out or a VIP service, its affordability and friendly atmosphere make it a wise choice for budget-conscious travelers seeking a central location and a welcoming environment.
